Tampa is a great little port to sail in and out of. The ships that sail out of there have to be small enough to fit under the Sky Way Bridge which crosses the mouth of Tampa Bay. None of the super mega ships meet that criteria, so if you like smaller more intimate ships, Tampa might be a frequent cruise port.
We arrive right on time, had an easy walk off disembarkation. We were picked up by family who took us to the Tampa Airport rental car garage. We got our rental car and then made the 4 hour drive to Ft. Lauderdale where we boarded the Celebrity Beyond for a 2 night US Inaugural event.
