2022 Canada, Greenland and Iceland: Holland America Nieuw Statendam Dining Review

Post 21 of 22

With 24 nights on this ship, I have lots of food pictures.

First, Tamarind Specialty dining where I had both the chicken curry and the wasabi encrusted steak.

Next a couple of dishes from the main dining room. The fish on this cruise was especially good because they purchased it locally. The chicken looked a little lonely until the fries arrived.

Mussels, Schnitzel, Beef Stew, Roast Chicken, fresh berries, apple pie a la mode, and an ice-cream sundae.

Mushroom bisque, beef stroganoff, and fish and chips.

Pinnacle Grill Dinner, Caesar salad, crab cakes that are actually mostly crab, steaks, beats, mushrooms, creamy mashed potatoes and souffle’ with custard sauce.

Crab cakes, pasta and meatballs, ham steak and fish.

Some food not from the main dining room including a Dive-In Dogs and burgers, Pizza, breakfast in the Lido Market Place, Surf and Turf in the Lido Marketplace, a Bocce Ball from the Dutch Cafe, and more Pizza!

Beef Wellington, Prosciutto with melon, spaghetti puntanesca, anti pasta, beef bordelaise, and fish fritters.

Canaletto Italian Specialty Restaurant: Bred and Tapenades, Cioppino, Antipasto, meatballs, lasagna, veal saltimbocca, and braised pork belly with gnocchi. We also enjoyed our wine that we made in blending class.

More specialty Dining – Pinnacle Grill lunch with amazing desserts. Then I have pictures of our second night dining at Canaletto Italian, with Meatballs, Seafood risotto, lasagna and the braised meat with the gnocchi.

And our farewell dinner, with French onion soup, mixed seafood, and veal parmesan.
