With flights and pre-cruise logistics provided by Celebrity, everything was completely seamless in getting us to the Galapagos. Celebrity builds into the package the two nights in Quito so that everyone and their luggage will make it in time for the charter flight out to Baltra. Celebriity representatives met us at the airport and assisted us to our busses for the 50 minute ride to Quito. The JW Marriott was a lovely hotel with amazing service and lots of amenities including at least 4 restaurants.
Our second day in Quito included breakfast, a morning tour of the historic UNESCO World Heritage downtown, catered lunch at a monastery, and then a visit to the Equator Museum just outside of town .
