This was to be an afternoon deep water snorkel followed by a zodiac ride in the area. It is said to be one of the best deep water snorkeling marine preserves on the islands, but the weather, swells and winds made it too dangerous for us to do the snorkeling. So they called-off the snorkeling, but were still able to include the zodiac ride. From the zodiac we could observe the sea turtles below and many different birds on the rocks. We even spotted the elusive Galapagos Penguin. Blue Footed Boobies and Brown Noddy Terns. A few more Nazca Boobies were also spotted.
