Our day in Bora Bora was spent taking a circle island tour in 4×4 Vehicles. The island’s volcanic cone geology makes it very steep with only a very little flat land. The circumference of the island is only 11.5 miles and our tour with many stops along the way took about 4 hours. The 4×4 was needed to get up the very steep terrain to the many different view points. The tour included a beach stop, a visit to the WWII Gun Site (Never Used) and a Parejo boutique. The vistas overlooking the lagoon, highlight the beauty of the island.
