2022 Celebrity Beyond US Inaugural Entertainment Review

Celebrity has usually had great and sometimes a little odd but enjoyable entertainment. The new technology that they have incorporated throughout the Beyond ship to make it a wonderful venue to enjoy music and dancing and more.

One of the highlight of the cruise, which might be kind of classified as entertainment was the presentation by Captain Kate and Lisa Lutoff Purlo (President of Celebrity Cruises).

The ladies did a little Q&A focused on being leading ladies in an industry that has tradtionally be lead by men. Later I got a Selfie with Captain Kate and my husband spotted her and Bug (her hairless cat) in the elevator. She even did a Martini Pour.

We got to see two new productions shows in the main theater during out little two night preview.

The first show was titled “Stagedoor, featured a very talented cast of singers and dancers. It paid tribute to some of the newer hit broadway shows like Hamilton and Moulon Rouge

The moment that was most special for our preview group was that Celebrity had brought one of the stars of a recent Broadway production of dream girls to sing live for our preview guests. Normally the duet is featured in the show as a Virtual duet with the singer having prerecorded her vocals and the Celebrity singer singing live. However for the US Inagural, it was live from both singers.

Celebrity not only has great shows like this one in the main theater, but also has a “Jazz Joint” show in the “Club Venue”. This show featured singers, dancers, tap dancers, and aerialists.

The ship also features an elaborate show in the Eden Venue with the same cast as the Jazz Joint.

Finally we had a second production show in the main theater, Arte had amazing graphics on the LED screen celebrating all different types of art from classical to modern to pop. Those eye-popping graphics combined with high energy singing and dancing for one of the most entertaining shows I’ve ever seen on Celebrity.

The entertainment on Beyond is certainly not limited to theatrical venues. The ship also featured a variety of music in the Eden Venue and the Martini Bar.

….And the Martini Bar features a fun flair show every night.

And finally, no Celebrity cruise would be complete with-out their fantastic Silent Disco Party.
