In addition to our highly anticipated Liza Tribute Show, we’ll be hosting an array of exciting events, including a Liza trivia and presentation contest, a Disco Night to relive the hedonistic 70s, and a 1920s Cabaret Night that pays homage to Liza’s cinematic triumph. It’s time to celebrate all things Liza with fellow fans and make unforgettable memories at sea.
Liza Tribute Show: Suzanne Klasen has been performing as Liza for over 15 years, and her journey began when a local group was putting on a big charity show to raise money for the local women’s shelter. The organization had already lined up “Elvis,” “Frank Sinatra,” and “Gladys Knight” from a local pool of Southern Arizona tribute artists when Suzanne, who had always been told that she resembled the famous singer, decided to put on a black pixie cut wig and disco pant suit and add “Liza” to the lineup.
Liza Trivia and Presentation: Test your knowledge of Liza Minnelli with our fun and informative Liza trivia contest! Join us for an engaging multimedia presentation that covers some of the highs and lows of Liza’s life and career. We’ll have prizes and giveaways to enhance the fun and excitement!
Disco Night: Get ready to boogie down with Liza and her friends at our Disco Night party! We’ll be celebrating the music, fashion, and celebrities of the disco era with great music, costume contests, and dance contests. Come dressed as your favorite disco icon from the 70s and enjoy the good clean fun for all ages!
1920s Cabaret Night: Step back in time and join us for a night of glamour and jazz at our 1920s Cabaret event! Inspired by Liza’s cinematic triumph in the Oscar-winning film Cabaret, we’ll be celebrating with cocktails, musical performances, and audience participation events. Dress in your finest 1920s attire and get ready to party like it’s 1929 with our group of fun-loving Liza fans!
