Bimini is a tiny Bahamian island that is only a two hour ferry ride from Miami. The only real development there is Resort World/Hilton Hotel. Virgin Voyages and Resort World worked together to build the Beach Club at Bimini. Virgin guests enjoy a complimentary day at the resort. They have a tram that picks people up at the dock and transfers them to the beach club about 1/2 mile away.
The food, beach chairs, and venue are included. Soft drinks are included, and alcoholic beverage are available for purchase. I very much enjoyed a quick dip in the ocean. I brought my snorkel mask, but because this as a sandy beach and not a coral beach, I didn’t see any fish. The lunch included pulled whole roasted pork, pumpkin curry and an assortment of other dishes was fantastic. The facility was brand new, spacious and had all kinds of places to relax and enjoy. If you are a beach lover, this is a day for you.
