Zaykthanos was another lovely little island. If I was to return, I would want to do an excursion to the beautiful scenic Ship Wreck Beach, which has to be accessed via either a boat excursion or by tour bus, taxi or rental car.

If you take boat tour you don’t have to climb down the cliffs if you are afraid of heights. Here is a stock photo of that lovely beach.

With so many other excursions booked on this cruise, we chose to simply explore the little town on our on and sought out peinirli, a boat shaped Greek version of Pizza. We had heard of this famous snack food and found a little shop that specialized in them.

We walked around the little town and enjoyed the views of the beautiful waters surrounding the island.
