My kids would say that I am overselling it, but the entertainment on the Celebrity Beyond is the best that I have ever seen in all my 45+ years of cruising.

The main theater shows were absolutely spectacular. Celebrity Cruises spent more on the the theater for this ship than parent company Royal Caribbean did on the entire ship for their first new build back in the 70’s. Even factoring in for Inflation, it shows the commitment that Celebrity has to providing worls class entertainment onboard their ships. The only down side was that with this being a brand new ship with brand new shows, it was hard to get a seat in the theater if you didn’t arrive at least 30 minutes early. And that went for both shows as they started at 7:30 and 9:30 in this ship, so that meant that folks finishing up early dinner could still slip in for the 7:30 show. I don’t know if that is permanent on the Edge class ships or just something that they were experimenting with for this ship and sailing.

Arte – This first main theater show brought classical works of art to life both on stage and the LED screen. The mix of modern and classic pop and rock appealed to all ages. The strong singers really made the songs their own. The production number brought to life the works of Gustav Kimt, abstract expressionism like Jackson Pollock, the surrealism of Savadore Dali, and more!

Elements – The next show that they presented was Elements which told the story of the Elements of Earth, Wind, Fire and Light.

Our Lady Valentine – Guest performers on this show were a male rock quartet who brought the greatest hits of rock-n-roll to life. All of these guys had super strong voices and had a lot of fun with the classic rock music.

Stage Door – This was Celebrity’s take on the very modern musicals that have graced Broadway over the last few decades. The show featured highlights from Springsteen on Broadway, Hamilton, Moulon Rouge, Dream Girls, Beautiful, Tina and Get On Your Feet! The Musical.

But wait there is more. Wonderful Music venue through out the ship including our favorite, the Eden Acoustic experience. They also have mini production shows in Eden with singers, dancers and acrobats. These are offered in one seating and usually after 10 pm.
