Each port on this Caribbean cruise had its own COVID restrictions, but with St. Croix being part of the United States we were able to explore on our own as long as we had proof of vaccination and wore mask indoors or when social distancing was not possible.

We walked off the ship and made our way over to the adjacent beach where we rented a chair and an umbrella for $10. I got out in the water for a gentle swim and then thinking that there might be a few fish donned my snorkel mask and was thrilled to see lots of fish just off the beach. This was a short hour or so on the beach and then back to the ship so that I could work my travel business.
