Queen Mary 2 Named “Best Luxury Cruise Ship” for Sixth Consecutive Year by Travel Weekly Readers

28 December 2009 – Cunard Line’s flagship Queen Mary 2 has once again been named “Best Luxury Cruise Ship” – for the sixth consecutive year – by the readers of Travel Weekly>, the national publication of the travel industry. The award recognizes the ocean liner’s dominance in the luxury category. Bestowed at the magazine’s seventh annual Readers Choice Awards event, held on 17 December 2009 at The Plaza Hotel in New York City, the awards are presented annually to industry suppliers that set the highest standard for product and service during the past year.
