Seattle, November 17, 2009 – Windstar Cruises, which operates a three-ship fleet of luxury yachts that explore hidden harbors and secluded coves of the world’s most treasured destinations, has been voted the “Most Popular†cruise line in the small-ship category by Zagat. Windstar also received high marks in the categories of Top Overall, Top Cabins, Top Service, Top Dining and Top Facilities.
“We are delighted and honored to receive these high rankings from Zagat,†said Diane Moore, president, Windstar Cruises. “This is a tremendous validation of the outstanding cruise experience Windstar delivers to guests.â€

Each cruise line was evaluated on Zagat’s signature 30-point scale for five aspects of performance: cabins, service, dining, facilities and shipboard activities, with an overall score based on the average of the five separate ratings. Zagat’s Cruise Line survey can be found at www.zagat.com/cruiselines.
