(Ft. Lauderdale, FL — September 18, 2007) Ultra-luxury Silversea Cruises announced today that it has selected Cruise Strategies Ltd to provide promotional assistance in Canada. Silversea will work closely with Cruise Strategies’ team to plan and implement sales, marketing and public relations campaigns to broaden awareness of the award-winning cruise company in the Canadian market.
The development follows Silversea’s recent move to eliminate the need for Canadian agencies to work with an appointed wholesaler, making it easier for travel retailers to sell its cruises by offering them direct access to its reservations and sales teams. Cruise Strategies will be working closely with Silversea’s Canadian regional sales directors to enhance their sales efforts. They include Karen Rich Motis, regional sales director for western Canada, Maggie Moran-Holyn, regional sales director for central Canada, and Norma Spadola, regional sales director for eastern Canada.
