Crystal Cruises	"Because tipping is a personal matter, Crystal Cruises does not include gratuities in the cruise fares." "Tips for the maître d', headwaiter, assistant stewardess and night Room Service personnel are at your discretion. Gratuities may be prepaid or charged to your shipboard account."	Stewardess, $4 per guest, per day (single travelers, $5 per day); senior waiter, $4 per guest, per day; waiter, $3 per guest, per day; butler (Penthouse Decks), $4 per guest, per day. For our specialty restaurants, Prego, Jade Garden, Silk Road and The Sushi Bar, we suggest $7 per guest, per dinner. Hapag-Lloyd Cruises	Tipping is not obligatory on board. Acknowledgment of particularly good service is at the discretion of each guest.	No guidelines provided on the Hapag-Lloyd site, but perhaps the industry standards could be used in their place.
Holland America Line	"Our crew works very hard to make sure that every aspect of your cruise meets the highest standards. There are also many others who support their efforts whom you may never meet, such as galley and laundry staff." Tips are automatically added to account with passengers having the ability to adjust the amounts up or down at their discretion. "The Hotel Service Charge is paid entirely to Holland America Line crewmembers, and represents an important part of their compensation."	$10 per person per day

Oceania Cruises	Auto tipping added to onboard account. All dining room staff gratuities are combined in a pool due to the fact that the ships offer multiple open-seating dining venues and you will likely be served by many different staff members during the course of your stay onboard. Guests occupying Penthouse, Vista, or Owner�s Suites will have an additional $3.50 gratuity per Guest, per day added in recognition of outstanding Butler Service. An 18% gratuity is automatically added to all beverage purchases and spa and salon services."

P&O Cruises	Cash in envelopes on most ships, with auto tipping on the Oceana with option to adjust up or down.	Suggested Tipping: Cabin Steward As one of two people who do most for you, he would normally receive approximately �1.40 per person per day. Most passengers put the tip in an envelope and hand it to their steward on the last day of the cruise. Your Restaurant Stewards & Head Waiter Another service which you will use daily is the Restaurant. An appropriate tip for the attentive service of your Restaurant Stewards would be approximately �1.50 per day, or �21.00 per passenger for a 14 day cruise. You may also reward the Head Waiter, the amount is entirely at your discretion. Again you would probably prefer to place the money in an envelope and present it at your last evening meal on board. On Oceana we have introduced and automatic service charge at the recommended amount per passenger per day which will be added to your ship board account. You can increase or decrease this charge at your discretion. To request a change simply visit Reception at any time during your cruise, where they will be happy to help.
Princess Cruises	Automatically charged to your onboard account, passengers can "op out" if they choose	During your cruise, you will meet many members of our staff in a variety of locations as they provide you with excellent service. Additionally, many more crew behind the scenes support those who serve you directly. For your convenience a Hotel and Dining charge of $10 per passenger per day (including children) will be automatically added to your shipboard account on a daily basis. The Hotel and Dining charge will be shared amongst those staff who help provide and support your cruise experience, including the wait staff, stateroom stewards and accommodations staff, buffet stewards, galley staff, laundry staff and others. Casino dealers and Lotus Spa personnel do not share in the Hotel and Dining charge as not all passengers utilize these services. A 15% charge is automatically added to your bar charges and dining room wine account. This is shared amongst the beverage staff and their support staff, including cleaners and utility staff.
Radisson Seven Seas Cruises	Gratuities are not expected on board; they are included in your cruise fare.
Royal Caribbean International	"Envelopes for gratuities will be provided in your stateroom on the last night of the cruise.
