Results on Tethered Balloon Poll, New Poll on Relaxation Feature Article Discussion Forum

We've had quite a few respondents to our question "Would you be interested in taking a tethered balloon ride while on your next cruise?" For those of you who might have missed my initial article, the Oasis of the Seas, Royal Caribbean's biggest and most ambitious build is testing a tethered balloon ride as an added feature on the ship. Royal Caribbean management has stated that the concept is still just in a testing phase and no conclusive plans have been made at this point to add the feature to the ship's offerings. Today we have started a new poll. "How do you relax on a port intensive cruise." This concept is very important to me as I will be taking a Trans-Atlantic cruise in November, during which the first half is very port intensive with ports nearly every day of the first week of the cruise. Since cruising in the 70's I have loved itineraries that offer lots of days at sea where one can relax in the resort like atmosphere of the cruise ship. However I've noticed that many Mediterranean cruise, (this one 1/2 Med.) are very port intensive. That is one of the reasons I have hesitated to take one. I've never been to Athens, or Dubrovnik, and many other Med ports, and I certainly wouldn't miss these ports, or another chance to visit a place like Venice. So I picture such cruises to be "Go Go Go" all the time. I could take a Caribbean or Mexico cruise and possibly stay on the ship during our stays in ports which I have visited before, but for new places, I would have a hard time not exploring the new destinations.
