Royal Caribbean has announced their latest promotion, “Postcards from the Nation of Why Not.” Beginning July 13, the cruise line will film and debut an unprecedented series of television spots starring real guests enjoying a variety of “Why Not” experiences onboard Liberty of the Seas during a seven-night Western Caribbean cruise, sailing July 11-18. This series of “ship to air” commercials will mark the first time television viewers on land can experience an actual cruise while it is happening. A production crew will shoot, edit, deliver and air these commercials (within 24 hours of being filmed) while the ship is still at sea. In addition, from July 13-17, inspired consumers can also enter for a chance to WIN A CRUISE each day and pursue their very own “Why Not” moments with Royal Caribbean at, their Postcards Website.

All “Postcards from the Nation of Why Not” spots will be available to view on royalcaribbean.com, facebook.com and youtube.com in addition to select television markets.

This looks like a great way to share the cruise experience with their potential customers. Royal Caribbean seeks to attract some of the millions of people who have yet to take a cruise vacation to their line. Their ships feature many industry leading innovations like ice rinks, flow riders, interior promenades, and rock climbing walls.
