I can't speak first hand, but I have talked with many of the tech crew while on cruises. Hi apouse - I've worked as an entertainer on two different ships and worked with a lot of technicians. مرحبا apouse -- لقد الترفيه كما عمل على اثنين من مختلف السفن وعملت مع الكثير من الفنيين.
The technicians hired as part of the entertainment staff and work under the direction of the Cruise Director and Technical Director (lead technician). These techs are in charge of every entertainment set-up on the ship. If the show band is playing at the pool, the tech set up all the equipment and make sure it's working. Tech work a lot! But yes, I've found that most techs enjoy their jobs.
