Has anyone booked through Cruise Adventure Travel?  They have the best price but I can't find a lot of info on them. Are they reputable?

I visited their home page, and from there is is hard to tell what they are like.  Their web  site seems pretty well organized, they participate in Cruise Compete which is a bidding system for multiple agencies, and they seem to bring up correct information through their booking system, though I found that Online, they did not list every possible cabin category, so you may need to call them if the category doesn't come up.

You may want to call them just to  ask them some questions about their agency, particularly since they are a online only agency, and not a "Brick and Mortor" agency.   In this day and age more an more online companies are popping up and some are great and others are "Fliy by night".   You might get a feel for how they operate by calling them.

Perhaps another reader from here at Cruise Talk has used them and can give us first hand information.

I would stay away from cruiseadventuretravel.com

I used cruisecompete.com (a great site to use) CRUISEADVENTURETRAVEL didn't necessarily have the lowest bid price but the agent promised me that I would get "first class service" and it has been ANYTHING but.

All phone calls to my agent, Kelly, go right to voicemail.  Left email and voicemail on several occasions and it never got returned.  It wasn't until I called one of the other agents to complain did Kelly suddenly start returning my calls and email.

Then there were luggage tags that I had to call Princess directly to have sent to me because it was one of those luxuries that CRUISEADVENTURETRAVEL said they don't get since they are a discount service.

Perhaps you will have a better experience with them than I did, but they didn't seem to offer the kind of "first class service" that I was promised and I could have saved a little more if I wasn't duped by that promise.

Thanks you Ronbo.  We really appreciate your input.  Sorry to hear that your service was less than first class with C A T.   Perhaps others will benefit from your experience.
