Gosh I’m not sure I can help you on that one, but I can share experience.
Celebrity is the sister line to Royal Caribbean, owned by the same company. On our Hawaii cruise we met one of the Sound and Light technician during the deck party. A huge storm rolled and and sent a bunch of us scurrying to the shelter of the Skybar. Quite a few of the show people were there. We had a nice chat with them. They were very friendly, fun loving people. I can only guess that since they were so happy that the working conditions and benefits must be pretty good. I think that the sound and lighting people on Celebrity work for an independant production company, where as RC has an in house production company.
