(October 26, 2010) – Caribbean ports, balmy breezes and the lively Latin-inspired rhythms of Tito Puente, Jr. and his six-piece band await guests onboard MSC Poesia for her Jan. 2, two-night, Caribbean cruise featuring these special performances with rates from $129 plus government fees and taxes.

Rumba, salsa, or mambo to the sounds of the son of the late, legendary Latin music percussionist, composer and arranger, Tito Puente, whose career as “El Rey” – the King – spanned half a century, seven Grammy Awards, 158 albums and thousands of performances.

His most recent release, “Got Mambo,” is a mixture of the old and the new as he takes a musical departure into some powerful new music he can truly call his own. “In My Father’s Shoes,” his 2004 album features the classic Puente titles which and was turned into a BET Jazz television special of the same name.

The itinerary for this two-night, Caribbean cruise calls at Nassau, Bahamas.
