Cunard Line Announces Partnership with Variety

Oct 14 – Cunard Line announces a new partnership with Variety, the leading publication for entertainment news, recognized and respected throughout the world of show business. During the annual award-show season, Cunard is supporting Variety’s Film Screening Series in Los Angeles and New York, open to industry executives and voting members of the various guilds and the Motion Picture Academy. After each screening Variety will conduct Q&A sessions with the films’ director, writers, producers and/or cast members that will video stream on Variety.com and later play onboard Cunard’s luxury ocean liners Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria. Variety and Cunard are working to develop similar Q&A programs onboard Queen Mary 2’s Transatlantic Crossings next year as part of Cunard Insights, the line’s award-winning guest enrichment program.

Variety’s Screening Series in Los Angeles and New York will showcase at least 50 of the award show season’s most anticipated films from the major and independent studios through the end of the year.
