It looks like our cruise talk readers are “on the ball” and rarely miss their cruise ship’s initial departure. Thus far, we have had 70 responses to our survey that asked “Have you ever been delayed and missed your cruise ship on embarkation day?”. Of those that responded only 4%, 3 cruisers, have ever missed the boat on embarkation day. Most Cruise Talk readers, 67% do arrive in their embarkation port a day early and have never “missed the boat.” On the other hand, quite a few of our readers, 27% arrive in their port city the day of embarkation, but have also never missed the boat. Finally, we even had one responder who was delayed in travel and missed the ship even though he or she was supposed to arrive a full day early. Here are the current poll results (Please note, the poll remains open on our polls archive page, so additional votes may have occurred since this article).
