Celebrity Cruises has taken a creative leap toward enhancing its onboard activities for kids of all ages by working with LeapFrog SchoolHouse to provide engaging, multisensory learning tools and instruction that align with Celebrity’s travel itineraries around the world.
Widely recognized for their interactive, electronic education programs and products for the pre-kindergarten through grade 8 education market, LeapFrog SchoolHouse’s award-winning writers and editors have worked with Celebrity to make available onboard a variety of their most popular products, and created six exclusive educational modules for children ages 3 through 9.
The new programming onboard focuses on topics including dinosaurs, science and space, sports, the world, art and music, and wildlife. Additional activities tailored to specific Celebrity itineraries also have been developed to enlighten and entertain children on the heritage, customs, crafts, art, and music of Alaska, Bermuda, the Caribbean, Mexico, and the Mediterranean-all regions where Celebrity generally attracts a higher percentage of families traveling with children.

Kids of every age will enjoy the LeapFrog SchoolHouse products now available across the Celebrity fleet, including popular personal learning tools (PLTs) such as LeapPadÂ® PLT, Quantum LeapPad PLT, the Leapster handheld, the new L-Max Leapster handheld and the Odyssey Globe. Celebrity also provides a full line of LeapFrog toddler products within its X-Club youth facility.

Celebrity’s “X-Club” Youth Program offers a full, four-tiered program year-round, led by fully qualified and experienced counselors, with age-specific activities for Shipmates (ages 3-6), Cadets (ages 7-9), Ensigns (ages 10-12) and Admiral T’s (ages 13-17). Children under three years of age may enter the facility and join in the program if accompanied by an adult.
