Celebrity Cruises Charts Course in Wine Country

Miami – (March 22, 2007 ) – Celebrity Cruises is raising a glass to the rolling hills of coastal Pacific wine country by offering two wine cruises in the region in the spring and fall of this year.

Celebrity Mercury will precede its 2007 Alaska season when the ship sets sail from San Francisco on April 27 for a seven-night wine cruise to Vancouver. Ports of call will include Monterey, Calif.; Astoria, Oregon; Seattle, Washington; and Victoria, British Columbia. On November 2, Celebrity Mercury will depart Vancouver for a 10-night wine cruise to San Diego, with ports of call in Victoria, Seattle, Astoria, and Catalina Island, in addition to an overnight stay in San Francisco.

The cruises will be enhanced by onboard food- and wine-themed activities, including wine talks by a California winemaker or wine expert, wine appreciation seminars, wine and cheese tastings, blending courses and culinary demonstrations.
