Unfortunately, the standard industry practice about a three year cycle on shows. It could be an even longer cycle for the Royal Caribbean mega ships because they feature slightly shortened versions of full Broadway shows. You make a good point that all cruisers should consider the entertainment as well as the itinerary. The Allure features the show "Chicago" and the Liberty of the Seas will feature "Saturday Night Fever".
