They're the only books I travel with. I travel a lot for work so anytime I know I'm going somewhere new; I look for an EyeWitness Travel Book to go along with the trip. I choose my vacations based on the EW Travel Book I buy while looking in the bookstores. These are the most amazing travel books. If DK does a book on New Jersey (raised there)I would love to contibute to it. For Anything! I love the EyeWitness Travel Books! They’re the only books I travel with. I travel a lot for work so anytime I know I’m going somewhere new; I look for an EyeWitness Travel Book to go along with the trip.
I choose my vacations based on the EW Travel Book I buy while looking in the bookstores.

Their pictures illustrate so much. For example when we went to Lanzarote in the the Canary Islands last year we did the cruise ship's Fire Mountain and Camels tour. On pages 92 and 93 of my DK Guide book, the pictures look remarkably like the ones I have up here on the site. The include the Volcanic Grill, Man Made Geyser, Fire Crater, and Camels. They really do a great job of capturing the whole experience. Glad to hear that there are others out there who find them as use full as I do. Their pictures illustrate so much. We toured Italy for a week last year and I used the invaluable information from the book to decide on where to stay, visit, eat, look out for etc. We also have the one for Spain and each time we visit the mainland we take it with us to explore some new regions. These books are worth their weight in gold, they add so much more to any holiday with all the recommendations and insider knowledge.
