A few corrections to this article:

Cleary was born in Carbonear, as this was/is the location of the area's only hospital, but he was raised in a nearby town called Harbour Grace, in a section of the town called Riverhead. Carbonear is closer to St. Johns.

Corner Brook is located on the Bay of Islands at the mouth of the Humber River, the city is the largest population centre in the province outside the Avalon Peninsula and functions as a service centre for western and northern Newfoundland.

Navajo were never in this part of the world. The area was occupied by the Beothuk and the Mikmaw.

We rely on our "virtual cruisers" to convey their cruise experience to us, and not to serve as hardened journalists. Virtual cruise reports are meant to be anecdotal travel logs. Our virtual cruisers are on vacation and receive no compensation for their reports. Hence our virtual cruisers may be repeating misinformation given to them by other cruisers or the cruise line.

We appreciate our readers pointing out mistakes in any of these reports and will post corrections when verified.
