Costa Luminosa zal Uniek Theater kenmerken dat Innovatieve Vermaak & Gevolgen opschept
MIAMI, FL, 12 Februari „€Gasten die aan boord van Costa Luminosa varen zal, het nieuwste vlaggeschip€ van Costa Cruises ™, overzichts van vermaak in het ship™s€ theater genieten dat vermaak en speciale gevolgen in tegenstelling tot om het even wat aangeboden in de Italiaanse company™s€ vloot van 12 schepen zal kenmerken. Momenteel in aanbouw bij de scheepswerf€ Marghera van Fincantieri ™s, is de 92.700 bruto-ton Costa Luminosa gepland voor levering in April 2009 en zal het nieuwste vlaggeschip in de vloot zijn. The theatres on the most recent flagships, for example, feature cutting-edge facilities such as a digital audio console enabling, full automation of all operations (microphone mute, sound effects control, synchronization with the hard disk player and the lighting console, video direction and stage automation); an advanced €œDolby surround€ system delivering enhanced rich stereo sound throughout the auditorium; a fully automated stage controlled by a PC with dedicated software for the opening and closing of curtains; a remote control for flying bars; a turntable stage and revolving music bandstand. In addition, there is a full-fledged €œlaser show,€ which can project film clips and images consisting of two monochromatic beams and one multicolor beam with 26 mirrors arranged in the theater.
Costa Cruises currently has 12 ships in service and five on order, more than any other cruise line in the world. By 2012 the Costa fleet will be 17-strong with total guest capacity of 36,800 in double occupancy cabins. In addition to the Costa Luminosa, four other new builds have been ordered €“ one 92,700 gross tonnage vessel and three 114,500-tonners, to be built in Marghera and Genoa Sestri Ponente by Fincantieri. Costa€™s fleet expansion program, which began in 2000, entails a total investment of 5.5 billion euros with the addition of 13 new fleet members from 2000 to 2012.
