MIAMI, Jan. 18 — Carnival Cruise Lines, the world’s largest cruise operator, in conjunction with the Ocean Players Club, a casino rewards program for guests sailing aboard the World’s Leading Cruise Lines, is hosting its 2008 “Wild Winners” Tournament, comprised of a series of slot, blackjack and poker tournaments. The tournaments will be held on 10 different seven- to nine-day “Fun Ship” cruises operating January through October 2008, culminating in a grand final event on board Carnival’s newest ship, the 3,006-passenger Carnival Splendor in November.

The preliminary slot and blackjack tournaments each offer a cash prize of $2,500. All first place winners receive complimentary balcony accommodations for two and a free entry to the Final Event on the Carnival Splendor Nov. 17. I just recieved infomration on a Princess Cruise Visa card that earns points towards crises etc. I have been on 5 Carnival Cruises and would prefer a Carnival card. Is one available?
Hi Debora, I did find the following card:
https://www.seamiles.com/index.csp
However, make sure that you read all the fine print and do some more research on the card. The other place that this card showed up in my web search was:
http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/148/ripoff0148787.htm#115530
Hopefully we will have some other card holders provide us here with there experience with the card.
We have a different rewards card that allows us to earn points that can be used for almost any thing. Earning a free cruise is nearly impossible because of the number of points needed… it would take years for us to earn enough points, and we like to cruise close to every year… so we tend to use the points for onboard credit.
