An On Board Perspective of the Norwegian Dream Collision

An On Board Perspective of the Norwegian Dream Collision

A few days ago, I posted about the recent Norwegian Dream collision with a container ship. I still don’t understand how this accident happened, but today, I found a pretty unique video on YouTube of the Norwegian dream collision.

The video was taken/made by passenger on the Norwegian Dream. I think the poster did a great job of putting together his home video with some additional stills of the collision. What a nightmare of a cruise and not a dream cruise.

Please enjoy the video:

  1. How is it possible for a passenger on the Norwegian dream to film the accident from, what it appears to be, another ship or the harbour?

  2. JJ,

I think you misunderstood the post. The video is from the passenger on the cruise ship. The video author took photo stills (available from many news sites) and spliced them into the video for effect. The photo stills were not taken by the video author that was on the ship.
