Explorer Ship in Distress in Antarctica is NOT Explorer II
Fort Lauderdale, FL - November 23, 2007 - Regent Seven Seas Cruises today clarified that the Explorer ship currently in distress in Antarctica is NOT the same ship as Explorer II, which the line offers for season cruises in the area.
“We just want to reassure our guests about to sail to Antarctica with us on Explorer II that everything is fine with our ship and we look forward to providing them a memorable vacation experience in the White Continent,” said Mark Conroy, president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “We are happy to hear that there were no injuries or loss of life from today’s incident,” he added.
