Thanks for the link to Stuarts article.  I posted a comment over there for him.   I used to love these simple cruises on these small ships, but most of the cruise lines are going with  the bigger is better idea.(Or the smaller is more expensive) idea.  With all our family activities and having to plan for the kids college we just can&#039;t see spending more than about $6k total for the four of us to cruise... the  smaller cruise ships are often double that. 

We do have lots of choices, lots of great ships to choose from and lots of wonderful itineraries availible to us right now.  We have lots of dining choices and dress code choices.  There really is something available to everyone, so maybe our current market is our golden age, only time will tell.</description>
