Holland Amerikas neues Ms Eurodam verbindet Ms Maasdam für Kanada 2008/Neu-England Kreuzfahrten
SEATTLE, 17. Juli - Holland Amerika der Linie neuestes Schiff, das Unterschrift-Kategorie Ms Eurodam, Marken sein nordamerikanischer Anfang, der Kanada und Neu-England Kreuzfahrten 2008 segelt und auch Quebec Stadt als das neue homeport der Linie einführt. The Maasdam’s seven-day cruises sail between Boston and Montreal and call at Bar Harbor, Maine; Halifax and Sydney, Nova Scotia; Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island; Quebec City for a full day, and Saguenay Fjord. At each port, guests can opt for shore excursions such as touring Acadia National Park near Bar Harbor by bike or carriage, exploring the Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse Route near Halifax and taking the popular Anne of Green Gables tour in Charlottetown.
The Maasdam also offers a seven-day, roundtrip departure from Boston on Aug. 9 that sails a different itinerary highlighting the Northeast Atlantic sea coast. Guests visit Portland, Maine; Saint John, New Brunswick; Halifax and Sydney, Nova Scotia; and Bar Harbor, Maine.
At season’s beginning (May 4) and end (Oct. 4), the Maasdam departs on either a 13- or 10-day cruise between Montreal and Ft. Lauderdale. The ship calls at Quebec City, Charlottetown, Halifax, Sydney and Bar Harbor on both cruises and adds Charleston, S.C., New London, Conn. and Newport, R.I., on the longer itinerary.

The Eurodam offers three 10-day cruises between New York and Quebec City departing Sept. 1, 11 and 21. Sailing during the glorious fall color season, the new ship calls at Newport, Rhode Island, Boston, Bar Harbor, Halifax, Sydney, Charlottetown and Quebec City; here guests enjoy a full day and overnight stay.
On Oct. 1 the Eurodam sails a special 14-day itinerary from Quebec City to Ft. Lauderdale, highlighted by the new port of Corner Brook, Newfoundland. Here the intriguing heritage of the Maritime Archaic Indians, Beothuk people, Vikings, Basque whalers and European explorers combine with the stunning scenery to fascinate visitors. After scenic cruising of the Saguenay Fjord and Gulf of St. Lawrence, Corner Brook is the first port of call, followed by Charlottetown, Sydney, St. John, Bar Harbor, Boston, Newport and New York before two days at sea and arrival in Ft. Lauderdale.
