P&O de cruises kondigt 2007/2008 Cruises van de Wereld aan
De brochure biedt passagiers de keus van drie reisroutes aan: een cruise van 80 nachtWereld op Aurora, een 101 nacht naar het oosten Grote Reis op Oriana en een 84 nacht Zuidamerikaanse Odyssee op Artemis.

Wij streven onophoudelijk ernaar om de kwaliteit en de originaliteit van onze wereldreizen te verbeteren, of dit toevoegend nieuwe havens, verhogend de hoeveelheid tijd die in favoriete bestemmingen wordt doorgebracht, of eenvoudig betekent makend de gehele ervaring flexibeler voor onze passagiers.
Auroras de reisroute is een klassieke volledige omvaart van de bol. Vertrekkend in Januari 2008, bezoekt Aurora 26 havens die via de Caraben, de V.S. varen, Stille Zuidzee, Austraal-Azi en het Oosten, ook doortrekkend de Kanalen van Panama en van Suez alvorens aan het UK terug te keren. Het begin van prijzen van 7,726.
Ook vertrekkend in Januari 2008, is de naar het oosten Grote Reis Orianas de langste reisroute met 40 thuishavens met inbegrip van negen in Australi. Leggend grote nadruk op Azi, kenmerkt Oriana nieuwe havens van Kemaman en Langkawi in Maleisi, samen met andere vraag in Thailand, Maleisi, Singapore, Vietnam, China en Taiwan. De reis kenmerkt ook nieuwe havenBijeenkomst in de Indische Oceaan, klassieke favorieten in Zuid-Afrika en Doubai. Het begin van prijzen van 9,046.
Vertrekkend in December 2007, kapselt de Zuidamerikaanse Odyssee Artemis de geschiedenis en de cultuur van Zuid-Amerika in. De thuishavens omvatten Santarem, Manaus en Rio DE Janeiro in Brazili, Buenos aires en Puerto Madryn in Argentini, Montevido in Uruguay, Santiago en Coquimbo in Chili, Lima in Peru en Manta in Ecuador.
De reisroute kenmerkt ook twee ˜cruise door bestemmingen nieuw aan Cruises P&O: De Gletsjer van Amalia en Gletsjer PIO X in Chili. Ook op de reisroute zijn nieuwe havens Roatan in Honduras en Belize; en tweedaagse stopovers in Manaus in Brazili, Buenos aires in Argentini en Lima in Peru dat „reizigers meer tijd geeft om deze diverse bestemmingen te onderzoeken.
Een ander hoogtepunt van de reis is de ervaring van Antarctica. Over a three-day period Artemis cruises by three of the Antarctics most intriguing islands and bays “ Half Moon Island with resident chinstrap penguins and whales; Hope Bay in the Antarctic Sound which is often referred to as Iceberg Alley, and Deception Island in the South Shetland Islands off the Antarctic Peninsula with volcanic slopes, steaming beaches and ash-layered glaciers. Cruising out of Southampton on Aurora passengers sail with her via the Caribbean, Panama Canal, Mexico, the USA, Pacific Islands and New Zealand before disembarking in either Sydney or Brisbane. They then have up to three weeks to travel independently in Australia before joining Oriana in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Perth to sail back to Southampton via the Orient, Indian Ocean, Africa and the Atlantic Isles. Prices start from 7,264 based on Southampton/Sydney on Aurora and Perth/Southampton on Oriana.
Shorter line voyages to and from Australia and New Zealand on Aurora and Oriana are also available. Ranging from 35 to 63 nights in duration, these itineraries are ideal for people with less time to spare or who want to visit a specific part of the world. Prices start from 3,849 for a 35-night Southampton to Auckland itinerary on Aurora and 4,113 for a 40-night Perth to Southampton voyage on Oriana. Flights to/from the UK are included.
To complete these voyages, pre and post cruise city stays can be arranged in some of the most popular Australasian ports, including Auckland, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth. Prices are from 109 for a one night pre-cruise stay in Sydney and 249 for a three-night post-cruise stay in Auckland.
The brochure offers a limited number of flight upgrades, with complimentary treatments at the London Heathrow Molton Brown Spa, at a supplement on all sailings. Pricebreaker early booking discounts of up to 45% are available, along with double on board credit of up to 750 per person for bookings made by 30 November 2006.
The brochure, available now, showcases a new design and content with visually enhanced geographical maps, detailed descriptions of on board facilities and entertainment for days at sea, shore excursion highlights for days ashore, and information on theme nights and dining inspired by the destinations on each voyage.
