I am a Cruise Lover. Yo soy un amante de crucero. But I’ve only been on 8 cruises, for some that is a lot and for some that is just a start. Pero he sido sólo el 8 cruceros, que para algunos es mucho y que para algunos es sólo un comienzo.

My first cruises were with my family when I was a kid. Mi primera cruceros fueron con mi familia cuando yo era un niño. My Dad was in sales and whenever he had a good sales year he would take the family on a cruise. Mi papá estaba en ventas y cada vez que había un buen año de ventas tendría la familia en un crucero. The late 70’s and early 80’s were great times for Main Frame Terminal sales, so that is when we went on most of our cruises. Los últimos años 70 y principios de los 80's fueron grandes tiempos para la terminal principal de ventas, por lo que es cuando fuimos a la mayoría de nuestros cruceros.

We had a great time as a family on these cruises. Tuvimos un buen tiempo como una familia en estos cruceros. The memories of these trips are all so good. El recuerdo de estos viajes son todos tan buenos. This was before they even came up with the idea of a kids program, and quite honestly there were so few kids, it really wasn’t nessisary. We’d hang out by the pool, or move the ponies for the “horse races”. Nos encantaría pasar el rato en la piscina, o mover los poneys para los "carreras de caballos". Dinner was always my favorite part, getting dressed up and trying new foods. La cena es siempre mi parte favorita, vestirse y probar nuevos alimentos. Most of these cruises were to the Carribean. La mayoría de estos cruceros fueron al Caribe. Probably the best one for me was the Stattendam in 1980 for Christmas. Probablemente el mejor para mí fue el Stattendam en 1980 para la Navidad. Great group of people on the cruise. Gran grupo de personas en el crucero. Service and crew were excellent. De servicios y la tripulación fueron excelentes.

More recently, DH and I took the Rotterdam to Alaska for our Honeymoon in 93. Más recientemente, DH y me tomó de Rotterdam a Alaska para nuestra luna de miel en el 93. We had such a great time. Tuvimos un gran tiempo. Again the food and service were excellent. Una vez más la comida y el servicio son excelentes. DH and I were in our twenties at the time, so we laughed about the fact that the only other people on the ship our age were the crew. DH y yo estábamos en nuestros años veinte en el momento, por lo que se rió por el hecho de que las únicas otras personas a bordo del buque nuestra edad fueron la tripulación. They were all wonderful. Todos ellos fueron maravillosos.

So for the next 10 years we were busy having kids and the other stuff you do when you first get married like buying a house and visiting your new family members. Then for our 10 year anniversary we decided to take a cruise. Luego de nuestro 10 aniversario hemos decidido tomar un crucero. Our first thought was to do HAL again, but we did look at other options, and Celebrity had a similar itenerary at a better price. Nuestro primer pensamiento fue para hacer HAL de nuevo, pero lo hicimos ver a otras opciones, y tenía una celebridad similar itenerary a un mejor precio. So we decided to give it a try. Por eso hemos decidido darle una oportunidad. We were hooked. Estábamos enganchados. The ship, Merc, was beautiful, the service and food excellent, and the Sailaways relaxing. El buque, Merc, fue hermoso, el servicio y la comida excelente, y la Sailaways relajante. As we sat on the deck for one of the Sail Away, DH said “its been 10 year since we’ve cruise, I’m not waiting another 10 years.” Como nos sentamos en la terraza de uno de los Sail Away, DH dijo que "sus sido 10 años desde que hemos de crucero, no estoy esperando otros 10 años."

So last year we took the Infinty to Hawaii and this time took the kids. Así que el año pasado tomamos la Infinty a Hawai y esta vez tomó a los niños. Wow, what a dream vacation. Wow, lo que es un sueño de vacaciones. The kids had a fantastic time and showed a lot of growth and maturity in the way they conducted themselves. Los niños tuvieron un fantástico tiempo y mostró una gran cantidad de crecimiento y madurez en la forma en que llevó a cabo ellos mismos. DH and I had so much fun meeting other people and enjoying all the ship and Hawaii had to offer. DH y yo tuvimos tan divertida reunión a otras personas y disfrutar de todos los buques y en Hawai tenía que ofrecer.

We are booked on the Merc for next Thanksgiving, and also planning an Alaska cruise for summer of 2007. Nos anotan en la Merc para el próximo Día de Acción de Gracias, y también la planificación de un crucero de Alaska para el verano de 2007.

Our hobbies are enjoying wine, scrap booking, video editing, photography, board games, Dancing -( me, and the kids, not DH), Singing & Karaoke (well me and the kids, not DH) Cheerleading and Football, gourmet cooking (this one we leave to DH, you wouldn’t like my cooking much) weight training, and travel. Nuestras aficiones están disfrutando de vino, la chatarra de reservas, edición de video, fotografía, juegos de mesa, Danza - (yo, y los niños, no DH), Canto & Karaoke (bueno conmigo y los niños, no DH) y Animación de Fútbol, cocina gourmet ( una, para dejar DH, que no te gustaría mucho mi cocina) entrenamiento con pesas, y los viajes.
